Convenient Split – type Roughness Tester
Product Overview
When measuring the surface roughness of a workpiece, place the sensor on the measured surface of the workpiece. The driving mechanism inside the driver makes the sensor slide at a constant speed along the measured surface. The sensor senses the roughness of the measured surface through the sharp stylus inside. At this time, the roughness of the measured surface of the workpiece causes the stylus to generate displacement, which changes the inductance of the inductor coil in the sensor. Thus, an analog signal proportional to the surface roughness is generated at the output end of the sensor. After being amplified, the signal enters the data acquisition system, and then the collected data is digitally filtered and calculated for parameters. The measurement results can be read on the liquid crystal display, output on a printer, or communicated with a PC.

Measurement Principle

The roughness of the measured surface causes the stylus to generate displacement, which changes the inductance of the inductor coil in the sensor. Thus, an analog signal proportional to the surface roughness is generated at the output end of the sensor. After being amplified, the signal enters the data acquisition system for digital filtering and parameter calculation. It can measure the surface roughness of various machined parts, calculate the corresponding parameters according to the selected measurement conditions, and clearly display all measurement parameters and contour graphics on the liquid crystal display.
